Hummus Bar and Grill is a must-visit Mediterranean restaurant on Ventura Boulevard. Notable menu items include tabouli, spicy fennel, and root vegetable salad. Residents who enjoy Brazilian cuisine can dine at Kravings for Brazilian picanha, tequila lime chicken, and honey-glazed Atlantic salmon.

Vanalden Cave Trail offers a unique hiking experience in the Santa Monica Mountains. Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park contains approximately 1,500 acres of open land, and residents can spend the day hiking, running, and mountain biking among gorgeous scenery. Corbin Canyon Park is another popular park in the Santa Monica Mountains. Approximately 320 acres, this park features the natural wonders of Corbin Canyon Trail near Woodland Hills. Those seeking a longer hike should check out Caballero Canyon Trail for a walk with plenty of wildflowers and sunshine.

Sports-minded individuals and families alike will enjoy the Tarzana Recreation Center for its baseball and softball fields, volleyball and basketball courts, community room, auditorium, and children’s playground. The center also hosts fun afterschool programs and camps.

Golf enthusiasts will find paradise at Braemar Country Club. With three 9-hole courses, this club is perfect for any skill level. The club also features tennis and pickleball courts and a host of other amenities, including a fitness center, dining area, and pool.
